Aaron Williams

RPAS Operator / Drone Pilot, Videographer, Assistant Camera / Production Assistant

Non-Union

A college educated drone pilot, filmmaker and accomplished stop-motion animator, Aaron Williams has over a decade of animation experience and a passion for all things narrative production. He has worked with RogersTV, Stratagem Group, and the MLHU. He has been awarded the MTO road safety volunteer award for his work on the Health Unit’s Tony the Streetwise Cat PSA series.

Aaron has experience producing and crewing short films and short documentaries through his time in Fanshawe’s Broadcasting – Film and Television Production course. Due to the nature of student and indie work, these productions were completed by limited crews under strict deadlines. He has also worked on larger productions as a Daily Camera Utility and as both a Driver and Location Production Assistant. These experiences have given Aaron a familiarity with a variety of production scales and the demands therein.

Additionally, Aaron is a fully licensed RPAS Operator (drone pilot).  Through Fanshawe’s Remotely Piloted Aerial Systems – Commercial Operations program, he has been trained in all aspects of flight planning and execution.

His reel can be viewed from ‘this link’ and further work can be found at ‘Formal Lens on YouTube’

Aaron is best suited to work as a drone pilot, in the camera department, or as grip/crew.
