Building Better Screenwriters Since 2013

Jordan Christopher Morris has been helping new and emerging screenwriters learn the art and science of writing inspired, engaging, and original screenplays – to industry standards – for a decade. His Screenplay Factory operation offers several different types of support:

The Story Forge
A one-month engagement focused on distilling and refining your film concept before the writing process begins. Most professionals agree that most scripts are “undercooked” and that concept development is the most important and yet most undervalued phase of any film’s development. Deliverables include over 20 pages of development materials including a robust outline of your screenplay concept and numerous exercises devoted to the development of your personal narrative voice.

Six Months to Screenplay
A complete instructional and personal support package that will take any dedicated writer from zero to complete screenplay in six months. This includes the above Story Forge process and five additional months of personally-tailored storycraft and pagecraft support and guidance. This includes weekly 1:1 sessions and productive homework assignments following each session. Every word and line you write will be read and returned with copious notes. Deliverables include a complete and professional-quality screenplay of your story concept.

Ongoing Support
Customized packages are also available to support your or your project’s unique needs.

Write the screenplay you’ve always dreamed of writing – the screenplay only YOU could write – and have fun doing it with training and support tailored to your specific needs!

Fresh, never-seen locations, access to hard-to-book spaces like our airport and university, and a warm welcome for filming with plenty of support services… London, Ontario is open for business to the film and television industry for productions large and small.

London can be whenever or wherever you want us to be. We have streetscapes and architecture that can stand in for cities across North America. Gorgeous in any season, ‘The Forest City’ is the 11th largest metropolitan area in Canada, capable of hosting any size of production. Our anchor position in Southwestern Ontario gives us access to rural, agricultural and unique small townscapes.

We’re only 2 hours down the highway from Toronto, 1 ½ hours from Hamilton, and have an international airport, GoTrain and Via Rail access. Best of all, we boast a strong and growing local talent and crew capability. Our film office and the city are dedicated to providing location support, smooth permitting, access to reasonable accommodations and a positive production experience for local, national and international filmmakers.

Call to let us help find the perfect locations for your next film or TV project.
