Beautiful, artistic venue in London’s historic Old East Village.
Designed with an eye to both sustainability and art, featuring reclaimed original wood floors and custom-built tables, reclaimed copper-clad bar, exposed yellow brick wall, bespoke metal sculptural lighting, large north-facing windows.
Well-suited to staging cafe/restaurant/bar/concerts/yoga studio/board room etc. scenes, with an exposed yellow brick wall as a great backdrop.
The Root Cellar Upstairs venue is located above 621/623 Dundas Street (the location of the former Root Cellar restaurant, now Dough EV Cafe & Bakery).
Wooden chairs, small tables, bar stools, bar tables available for staging various layouts.
The Root Cellar Upstairs venue is accessed via an internal staircase off Dundas Street of approx. 20 stairs with a handrail (with backdoor loading off Marshall Street via exterior staircase).
