My name is Jayden, and I am an independent filmmaker located in East London.

Coming from a small town in Northern Ontario, the film industry was lackluster – I was one of two people who wanted to pursue film as a career in my high school. I ended up at Fanshawe College due to the nature of its’ program, that being the opportunities it gave as well as hearing about its’ style of learning from some current students.

I connected to film after creating a short in my high school communications class about an experience I had with bullying. When CBC and CTV News reached out to me, I realized that people were interested in my stories– igniting my passion for film and boosting my drive to want to dive into the industry.

My goal is to try every film industry position at least once. I am always open to trying new things and strive to learn something new on every single shoot. I am a firm believer in professionalism, whilst still creating a warm and welcoming environment– Someone would say that I get along well with everyone– I am a people person and always put my one hundred percent in on sets.

I have experience on both professional and student film sets and I am always interested in volunteering my time to gain network opportunities and learn more about equipment and stories on each set I partake in.

I have attached one of my favorite short films i’ve created, “DEADLOCK“, where I  was a Co-Director, Editor, Screenwriter & Drone Operator for the project.

To see more of my work, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me at any of my information below. For those who would rather not use their personal phone number or email, my social media is as follows:
