I am a retired RCMP officer (retired March 2021 at the rank of Sergeant); lawyer (not currently practising), and current PhD student (law) at Western University (my dissertation involves using science fiction to explore legal issues with emerging technologies and space law). My relevant skillset includes experience in using firearms (pistols, rifles, shotguns, carbines, as well as black powder muskets and canons), tactics, fencing (sabre, foil, and epee), and bartending. 


I have a valid Firearms Licence (PAL – non-restricted and restricted) and Smart Serve qualification. I hold dual Canadian/U.S. citizenship and can legally work in either country.
