Mukunda Bhatta is a Nepali Born-Canadian film director, writer, and producer based in London, Ontario. He is the founder of MB Pictures Canada.he focuses on blending South Asian heart with Canadian cinematic realism.

After directing the acclaimed Nepali action film Lappan Chhappan 2, Mukunda began developing his first Canadian feature, FUNDAY, a comedic thriller set across London and Niagara. His goal is to bridge cultures and showcase diverse voices through powerful, entertaining cinema.

Mukunda Bhatta is a dynamic filmmaker, writer, and producer originally from Nepal and now based in London, Ontario, Canada. With over 15 years of experience in the film and entertainment industry.

As a director and producer, Mukunda is best known for his action drama Lappan Chhappan 2 (Nepal), which showcased his distinctive blend of realism, emotion, and cinematic scale. Since relocating to Canada, he founded MB Pictures Canada Inc., a creative production house focused on film, television, and cross-cultural co-productions.
