This 2 1/2 story Victorian chromatic brick building has Italianate and Second Empire architectural elements. The building has a square plan tower, cast iron, and plate glass windows with segment arches, a mansard roof, and dormer windows. There are two entrances on Rectory Street – the stage and conservatory; and two entrances on Dundas Street – the Box Office and Main Hall with elevator access from Dundas Street. The music hall is one of Canada’s top 10 acoustic halls. The hall offers a raised stage with proscenium arch and wings. The main floor is flat with chairs and seats 240. The balcony has fixed theatre seating for 60. The lobby has kitchen facilities and the box office is large with administrative offices. There are several studios and a lower level hall. An exterior courtyard is fully fenced with gardens and seating. Parking available at the back.
